SubRosa is a non-profit, donation-funded space in downtown Santa Cruz for art and radical projects run by a collective of volunteers from the local anarchist community. It offers anarchist books, zines, and music. The space also houses the Anarchist Lending Library, featuring books on anarchy, Situationists, history, politics, ecology, indigenous studies, feminism and psychology that might not be available in the local library.
Join us for an evening of all types of punk rock! post punk, pop punk, and maybe other kinds too!

Comments on the SubRosa website are fully moderated. As a collective, we agreed that the purpose of the website was to promote SubRosa, not to provide an online place for lively and invigorating debate. We hope that the space itself is where conversations on the nature of anarchism and local projects will take place. That said, we occasionally approve comments that are informative or reflect a viewpoint we feel it is important for website visitors to read.
