Art Opening, Friday October 6. This series is entitled "(k)not work" by Tawn, and the series will be up the month of October.

And there is a lot going on this evening at the Hub, including a benefit show for people in Mexico impacted by the earthquakes...and more! https://www.facebook.com/events/139473983341397

Tawn is the director of youth programs for Bike Santa Cruz County. Tawn grew up in a family of artists: his father was a potter, and his mother a painter and poet. He attended Santa Cruz High and UCSC, where he studied art, creative writing, and eventually received a BA in Community Studies. After graduating, Tawn coordinated school gardens, ran a teens-as-teachers environmental education program, and trained UCSC undergraduates to teach their own sustainability-focused classes.  In his free time he makes art, writes poetry, and hangs out with redwoods.

Comments on the SubRosa website are fully moderated. As a collective, we agreed that the purpose of the website was to promote SubRosa, not to provide an online place for lively and invigorating debate. We hope that the space itself is where conversations on the nature of anarchism and local projects will take place. That said, we occasionally approve comments that are informative or reflect a viewpoint we feel it is important for website visitors to read.
