SubRosa Volunteer Opportunities

SubRosa Community Space is currently accepting applications for volunteer staff positions.

As a staffer, you'd commit to taking a regular shift, participating in collective decision-making about the space, and in time, bottom-lining important tasks.

This is an anarchist community space run by a collective of committed volunteers.  We put energy into SubRosa to create a vibrant community space available for events, classes, and meetings, collaborations and organizing, art and creativity, as well as reading and studying.

Commitment: We are looking for people who can commit to taking one shift a week, and making that their own. We'd like it if you can commit to hold down that shift for at least a couple of months. We'll expect you to try to find a sub if you have to miss a shift. And we'll expect you to come to a regular staff meetings.

If you are interested in applying, please email subrosa-staffing@riseup.net  For more information about the new staffer process, check out the new staffer page.  For more info about how SubRosa works, the nitty-gritty and nuts-and-bolts, check out Recipes for a Successful Infoshop.

Comments on the SubRosa website are fully moderated. As a collective, we agreed that the purpose of the website was to promote SubRosa, not to provide an online place for lively and invigorating debate. We hope that the space itself is where conversations on the nature of anarchism and local projects will take place. That said, we occasionally approve comments that are informative or reflect a viewpoint we feel it is important for website visitors to read.
