AND

Happy Ninth Birthday SubRosa!

Today it is November 1st and SubRosa is nine years old. September and October 2008 we worked on the inside and courtyard at a space at 703 Pacific Avenue that was soon to be named SubRosa. Here's a link to a post on the SubRosa website's journal with more on that (and some Santa Cruz radical history)  http://journal.subrosaproject.org/2017/11/happy-ninth-birthday-subrosa-and-some.html

And another reminder...

The SubRosa fundraiser is still ongoing and in fact our rent has gone up $150!
This month we barely covered rent. Can you join us and contribute?
(and money is processed through a secure WePay account).

***Note:  You can choose how regularly you contribute to SubRosa and the default on the website is weekly.  This can be changed to other time frames as well.  Also, the Action Network, which hosts the fundraiser requests a "tip" and this can also be adjusted from the default of 10% to "no tip" or even more.

Comments on the SubRosa website are fully moderated. As a collective, we agreed that the purpose of the website was to promote SubRosa, not to provide an online place for lively and invigorating debate. We hope that the space itself is where conversations on the nature of anarchism and local projects will take place. That said, we occasionally approve comments that are informative or reflect a viewpoint we feel it is important for website visitors to read.
